Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SAKREE L.L.C., a Virginia limited liability company ("Sakree," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of the Sakree mobile application.

By creating an account or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

The App is intended solely for users who are 18 years of age or older and located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area (DC, Maryland, Virginia).

By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, located in the DMV, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and have not been previously banned from the App.

You may not use the App if you are required to register as a sex offender in any jurisdiction.

3. Purpose of the App

Sakree is designed exclusively to facilitate platonic friendships between adults through guided conversations and in-person meetups.

The App may not be used for dating, romantic relationships, or sexual encounters; business networking, recruiting, or professional purposes; promoting, advertising, or selling products or services; or multi-level marketing or similar activities.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

You may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts or impersonating others is prohibited.

5. User Conduct

You agree to treat other users with respect, honor meetup commitments or provide reasonable notice of cancellation, report safety concerns, and respect others' boundaries.

You agree not to harass, threaten, or abuse other users; use the App for dating or romantic purposes; send spam or advertisements; post inappropriate content; use automated systems or bots; attempt unauthorized access; share screenshots of private conversations; or contact users outside the App after being blocked.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (profile, messages, prompt responses). By submitting content, you grant Sakree a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and process your content to provide the service. This license ends when you delete your content or account.

7. Meetups and Safety

Sakree facilitates introductions but does not organize, supervise, or attend meetups. You are solely responsible for your own safety when meeting other users.

We recommend meeting in public places, informing someone of your plans, trusting your instincts, and avoiding sharing sensitive personal information until trust is established.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by navigating to Settings and selecting Delete Account. Your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, receipt of multiple safety reports, fraudulent activity, or extended inactivity.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT YOU WILL FORM FRIENDSHIPS, THAT MATCHES WILL BE COMPATIBLE, OR THAT OTHER USERS WILL BEHAVE APPROPRIATELY.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAKREE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Sakree from claims arising from your violation of these Terms, your violation of others' rights, your content, or your conduct in connection with the App.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Virginia law. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at info@sakree.com and attempt informal resolution for 30 days.

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration under AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of account creation by emailing info@sakree.com with subject "Arbitration Opt-Out."

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email before changes take effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Accessibility

Sakree is committed to making the App accessible to users with disabilities. If you experience accessibility barriers, contact us at info@sakree.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line.

15. General Provisions

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Sakree. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
